My Dearest, My Dearest- A Poem By Molly

My Dearest, My Dearest.

My dearest, my dearest,
Only death do us part.
My dearest, my dearest,
You have taken my heart.

Like a cold shower
Your touch chills my skin,
My dearest, my dearest,
Your fingers so thin.

The wind’s grasping claws
Pull you from my hand,
My dearest, my dearest,
Away to your dreamland.

My dearest, my dearest
Only death do us part.
My dearest my dearest,
You have taken my heart.

As I let your palm fall,
A bird begins to sing.
My dearest, my dearest,
The pain starts to sting.

Like a dead bee,
Tragic and forlorn,
My dearest, my dearest,
I wish I weren’t born.

My dearest, my dearest,
Only death do us part.
My dearest, my dearest,
You have taken my heart.

Your hand hits your chest,
No breath from your lungs,
My dearest, My love,
Trapped forever young

My dearest, my dearest,
Only death do us part.
My dearest, my love,
You have the shards of my heart.
