Take Me Away- A Poem By Molly

 

         Hey guys!

During the summer I was camping by the sea, and when I came home I felt inspired to write a poem about the ocean. The weather was interesting... It changed from crazy storms to boiling hot with not a breeze in the air in merely couple of hours!

Take Me Away Written By Molly 

Take me to the depths 

Of the wide vast blue 

to the deepest of greens

where you cannot see the moon

Take me to the deep 

Where the sun doesn't shine 

Full of curious fish 

I wish that were mine 

Take me to the reefs

Buildt on death and dispair 

Full of colour and life 

All wonders are there 

Take me to the caves

Carved by the ocean 

Waves always crashing 

Forever in motion 

Take me to the shore

All polished pebbles

Orange, brown and grey 

Shining like medals 

Take me away 

From this bone dry land 

Where I'll never see the beach 

Or feel the waters under my hand 

Take me away 

To the wide vast blue 

To the deepest of greens 

Away from my room
